These are two guys that haven't really crossed paths yet. When Sheamus was an ascending talent in WWE, Batista was already gone. As a result, they didn't interact at all. Anything they do together would have a fresh feel to it. The appeal of a Sheamus/Batista feud is that they're two power guys who hit hard and could have one of those physical type of brawls that is appealing to watch. When Batista feuded with Triple H, some of their early matches weren't that great, but they got better as time went on. Sheamus is similar to Hunter in that once he builds chemistry with opponents his matches improve. When it comes to Sheamus, he might turn heel soon too. He's been in that babyface role for a couple of years now and the fans are used to his offense, but he'll get stale if he's not feuding with the right person. Perhaps the freshness of a feud with Batista will help him. I think this could be a good feud if it's booked well. Batista's going to draw heat by cutting promos ripping on fans. Sheamus is the right kind of guy to make the fans happy because he could hit a Brogue Kick to shut Batista up and please the fans that way.
