Roberts got his start their in the Louisiana area in 1974 going around to many different territories, including Midsouth Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling in which he was a member of the original Legion of Doom with Paul Ellering along with a run in World-Class Championship Wrestling winning the television title from Chris Adams before heading off to become the slithery snake we all know from his WWF and WCW runs. Even though I know that they would go with Diamond Dallas Page at this point for the inductions for logical reasons I would like to see Paul Ellering do it because I think it would lead to some eclectic and funny talking points. But that's just me.
