Part of me thought about this long and hard and while it makes for sense considering the feuds with the von Erich's in Texas I think the angle at which they blinded the Junkyard Dog deserves them to be put in New Orleans as they were big part of Midsouth wrestling in the early 80s as Michael Hayes was not only the mouthpiece for the group alongside Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy and Buddy "Jack" Roberts. But he also did commentary on the weekly television with a very young and spry Jim Ross. Not only did they change how teams were perceived they also changed how wrestling was presented not only with the Freebird rule, but with the music video wrestling combination. A technique that is still used today in video packages. But who would you get to induct them. I think there's only one person you get to induct them and that would be Kevin von Erich. And if you really want to do something in Texas borrowed my idea on inducting rivalries and do the von Erichs versus the Freebirds in Dallas for Wrestlemania 31 as it looks to be the location that WWE is eyeing. Now, I'm sure there are a lot of names like Randy Savage were Paul Bearer that you may be wondering why they're not on my list. The answer is quite simple and that is location. While these men in particular among others deserve to be in the Hall of Fame without argument It's about location and given Savage and his close ties the Florida and William Moody and his close ties to World Class in Texas it makes more sense to induct him Dallas than it would in the Gulf Coast. Even though he is from Alabama. And with Orlando and the Big D looking to be the next locations for Wrestlemania in 2015 and 2016. It makes more sense to hold those off, especially in the case of Paul Bearer and wait until the Undertaker is ready to retire and do them both together. Now all that said, do I think WWE will do any of this. Probably not there are rumors that DX, who was supposed to be inducted this year will go in next year and it's pretty much a shoe in that the Father of Destruction Paul Bearer will be inducted next year.
