WWE: 6 Reasons Hulk Hogan's Return Would Be "Bad For Business"

1. Would He Put Over A Deserving Talent? Or Just Take Their Spot?

Hogan Hogan If they do bring Hulk Hogan back, then we can at least hope that he is there to make someone else look good, right? If we have to put up with him then we may as well get the most out of him and having someone who main evented the FIRST WrestleMania could definitely benefit someone at the 30th installment greatly. There are any number of young, up and coming superstars who Hogan could pass the torch to and say something corny like, "It's been Hulkamania for 30 years brother, now it's your turn for 30 more." It would almost instantly put the wheels in motion to making someone the next big star. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening. Should Hogan appear at WrestleMania, I have a sinking feeling that instead of using him to prepare the future, he'd instead be there more to endorse the Present. My nightmares lately have been plagued by the image of Hulk Hogan raising John Cena's arms seconds after he has unified both World Title belts. I understand that John Cena's WWE run is far from over, but if there's anyone that doesn't need any more endorsement it's him. I understand completely that this point is merely speculation at this point. All I hope that is if Hogan does make an appearance that he at least helps the company build for the future rather than furthering his own legacy or that of someone who already doesn't need it. There are an abundance of WWE stars that work hard all year round and dream of the major showcase and big paycheck that WrestleMania brings with it. The danger with bringing anyone back for one night is that those more deserving may be displaced to make room to accommodate, which is always already an issue at WrestleMania due to the amount of celebrities and filler that WWE insist on including. Adding Hogan at the expense of a hard working talent would be a slap in the face to those who work hard day in and day out. Some would say that he earned it by having such a big part in building WrestleMania, which is a fair point. However, there are ways to honor his past without sacrificing a future star that I hope WWE remember. The thought of someone like Dolph Ziggler working hard all year only to get beat up by an old man is a frightening prospect to say the least. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xACVo4JHxJ4
