WWE: 6 Reasons Hulk Hogan's Return Would Be "Bad For Business"

2. His Personal Life Is Crazier Than Wrestling

18659__hhogan02_l Being a PG company who are very aware of their public image, the WWE has taken many steps in recent years to make sure they maintain a squeaky clean image. Particularly since the horrible Benoit incident, they have introduced many methods to ensure that no one tarnishes their reputation. So at a time when all of the roster (and potential employees) need to be on their best behavior, is it really right to hire a man with one of the most embarrassing personal lives in recent memory? WWE performers when signing a contract now have to make the company aware if there are any controversial photos or other content that might pop over time. Considering he has in recent years been part of his own sex tape scandal are we to believe that Hogan will be held to the same standard? If not it sends a terrible double standard to the existing roster members. He may be classed as a legend but his personal life has at times been a shambles and if anything else were to come up it could be a PR nightmare for the WWE. And that's not even taking into account the rest of his family's potential public mess-ups. In short, the Hogan family is an embarrassment to wrestling fans. In an attempt to make himself and his family relevant outside of the business, his family was thrust into the spotlight in Hogan Knows Best. What followed was years of embarrassing scandals that make wrestling fans cringe. From Brooke's failed pop career, to the mud slinging that occurred during Linda and Terry's divorce, to his son leaving someone paralyzed for life in a high-speed car accident. The Hogan family has got their wish and become more famous than just for wrestling, unfortunately it's for all the wrong reasons. WrestleMania is a time when more eyes than ever are on the wrestling and while old school fans would welcome Hulk back, neutral eyes will probably just laugh. Old school Hogan might have a scrap of street cred left, but modern day Hulk is a laughing stock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViS7W3FfVBA
