http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfqV3xI8l_s Of course, last but certainly not least, there was the main event. The WWE Champion vs. Intercontinental Champion -- Hulk Hogan vs. the Ultimate Warrior. It was dubbed the Ultimate Challenge. Never before had two babyfaces squared off in the main event of WrestleMania. And not just any babyfaces, but the two of the biggest superstars in the history of sports-entertainment. Hulk Hogan had been the guy for over five years, but the Ultimate Warrior had steadily climbed the ranks to rival Hogan for the top spot. And when they finally met, face-to-face, inside the SkyDome it was a sight to behold. The crowd was split pretty evenly between the Hulkster and the Warrior, but as the match progressed, it seemed that more fans switched allegiances, and went from Hulkamaniacs to full-fledged Warriors. These two men put on a classic contest that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. It was no wrestling clinic, but it was a thrilling encounter in which it was nearly impossible to predict who would win. They matched each other hold for hold, as the bout went back and forth, with no clear favorite to win. It was a match style that Brock Lesnar and Goldberg tried to replicate 14 years later at WrestleMania XX. The only difference being that no one cared about Brock and Bill, as they were both on their way out of the company. However, at WrestleMania VI, everyone was invested in the Ultimate Challenge. In the end, Warrior walked out with both the Intercontinental Championship and the WWE title. The proverbial torch had been passed and a new man had become the -- now painted -- face of the wrestling world. The Ultimate Warrior shook the ropes and held both titles high, as the crowd erupted and the pyro exploded.
