WWE: 6 Reasons WrestleMania VI Is The Greatest Of Them All

2. The Intro

How does an introductory video package that lasts all of a minute end up at number two? When it was this amazing, it's a wonder it doesn't end up at number one. Let's get descriptive, in order to set the scene: The cosmos appeared -- stars lit up a pitch black sky. In the words of Vince McMahon -- whose guttural, booming voice narrated the spectacle -- "images begin to appear; images of strange and powerful forces." A few of the all-too-familiar constellations whizzed past -- Ursa Major, Cancer, and Pegasus. But then, two gigantic yet familiar figures appeared. In the stars of the Milky Way galaxy were the two most popular WWE Superstars of that time. Hulk Hogan. And the Ultimate Warrior. Vince capped it off by shouting, "Champion versus champion. Title for title. It's the Ultimate Challenge. It's WrestleMania!" as the two mammoth constellations faced-off and dissolved into an image of the Hulkster and the Warrior, nose to nose. That is how you start the biggest event of the year and kick off the Showcase of the Immortals. That is how you hype the greatest matchup in WrestleMania history. The Ultimate Challenge was upon us, and it was going to be incredible.
