4. Ryback
Ryback came into the company as a face, then a weird kind of bully heel, then Paul Heyman's weird fiancé-type.... thing, before now settling into a tag team with Curtis Axel which is basically Heymans Handmedowns. To say he is in a rut would be an understatement. He went from being an unstoppable machine in his debut to being everybody's favourite jobber. Oh, and he's still followed around by those Goldberg chants. If anyone in the current roster could do with a change of direction, its this guy. No-one deserves to be in a team called Rybaxel, that's just cruel. But he has taken so many losses in this past year that his stock has plummeted, he needs a big change to get him back in the game. Joining The Shield could be just the thing for him, what better way to re-establish himself as a dominant monster than by beating down Roman Reigns? We KNOW Roman is a serious powerhouse, so leading a beatdown on him is as good a way as any to get some credibility back. As Ric Flair always said, "to be the man, you gotta beat the man" and in the eyes of the WWE fans, Reigns is definitely the man. It's a good match, and if they go with anybody on the current roster, Ryback is one of the most likely. He'd definitely suit the uniform more than he does Rob Van Dam's old singlets. Personally, I think he'd be better served if he allowed his sarcastic troll persona that we see so often on twitter to be part of his in-ring character, but The Shield could do worse, and so could Ryback Odds: 12-1
