WWE: 6 Ways CM Punk's Resignation Could Affect Daniel Bryan

1. Bryan Is Going To Be Wrestling A Lot More With All Sorts Of Wrestlers After Wrestlemania 30

Daniel Bryan The great thing about having two really good, versatile wrestlers near the top of your roster is that it allows you variety and flexibility. If one of the superstars was chasing the championship- as Daniel Bryan was in the middle of last year, then the other superstar could work in a massive tent pole match that didn't need a title (CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar) or help enhance younger talent (CM Punk vs Curtis Axel). Likewise, once in a while you could set them up against each other and see the sparks fly. Well now the WWE doesn't have that option. Daniel Bryan is basically going to be doing the work of what was once the burden of two. Whereas once it was CM Punk and Bryan that they could rely on to carry younger talent, make angles work and make the championship matches interesting there is just Bryan left now. Whether he has the championship or not you can rest assured there will not be a lot of weeks that he doesn't wrestle after Wrestlemania 30 (I would assume they might protect him a little before then). Furthermore, while NXT wrestlers who want a push may be considered beneath the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton, you can rest assured that Daniel Bryan will be asked to make them look good when they first come to the WWE. WWE Title or no WWE title, the next 12 months for Daniel Bryan have been thrown in the air a bit by the departure of CM Punk. One can only hope that WWE creative has learned some lessons from this debacle and ensures that Bryan gets the Wrestlemania moment he deserves.
