1. Merge The IC Title With The US Title
It's time to get rid of the US Title. It's not like WWE cares about the US Title to book it the right way with actual feuds. Like I mentioned earlier, they make fun of Ambrose for not defending the title often. So why keep it around? Get rid of it. What WWE should do is have Ambrose drop the US Title before WrestleMania. When he wrestled Mark Henry on Raw a couple of weeks ago I figured it would be Henry that beats him for it. From there they could have Henry go heel on his buddy Big E and that would set up a match at WrestleMania. Think of it like a passing the torch kind of moment with Henry as the veteran power wrestler putting over a guy like Big E. They could have a good buildup to the match, which would be different than anything else on the show. Put Big E over, give him the two titles at WrestleMania and announce that the US Title is gone after that. If the IC Title was the only secondary title then it would become a bigger deal. Wrestlers wouldn't be able to get the US Title. It makes the IC Title more valuable in the eyes of the fans watching at home. It's the same thing that makes the WWE World Heavyweight Title so important since they merged it with the WWE Title. Big E is the right guy to be IC Champion right now. He can do a great job as champion. It's just a matter of WWE putting him in the position to make a difference.
