WWE: 6 Ways WrestleMania 30 And Post-Mania Raw Mark A New Era

3. Vignettes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XyO20rMrpY Even with two NXT debuts and the return of RVD last night, that wasn't enough for WWE, which is another sign that the company is ushering in a new era. One or two debuts is one thing, but Monday night, two vignettes appeared throughout the broadcast hyping the arrival of two more NXT stars. It was widely assumed that Bo Dallas would have to make it to the main roster soon. After holding the NXT championship for eight-plus months, there really was no place for the younger Rotunda brother to go. He can't stay in NXT forever (which sounds funny to say since he's only 23), as both NXT champs before him have been called up to the main roster (Seth Rollins and Big E). It remains to be seen if the "Bolieve" gimmick will translate in WWE, but it looks like they're going to roll the dice. And if it fails, the Wyatts can always use a new family member. Even though he's 34, Adam Rose is a fresh face for WWE with a fresh gimmick. "Music stars" have wrestled in WWE before, but this is not your father's Honky Tonk Man or older brother's Jeff Jarrett. It looks like this will be a fun, unique character, and fans need that. Right now, the "entertainment" wrestling comes from guys like Santino and Fandango, and Santino has been doing the same shtick for more than five years. And this doesn't even count the other NXT guys who could be on their way (and this could have been a separate entry): the Ascension, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville to name a few. Perhaps more vignettes will be in the pipeline in the coming months.
