WWE: 7 Creative Suggestions That Are Best For Business

2. Make Vince Give Stephanie Half Creative Power

I think if anyone who has ever viewed the WWE-produced documentary McMahon could ever think that Vince did not have an ego, they must be either legally blind or clinically dead. What is also pretty much widely accepted as fact within the wrestling world is that this megalomaniacal side of Vinne Mac can have a detrimental affect to the wrestling business. Hell, even God had a day off. But for all of his accomplishments and all of his failures, the one instant in the history of the McMahon conglomerate that I will focus on is the Katie Vick saga. Now, we all know that regardless of what "creative" comes up with, final say always ends with the boss. The story arc will commence on either a yay or a nay from this corporate genius. According to this particular visual document, it states that as the Katie Vick angle was heading into final development, everyone came to realise that the idea may come off as somewhat offensive and insane to the average viewer, but as Vince himself was completely sold on the idea, the voices of reason effectively had their vocal chords ripped out, and we got what to my knowledge was the first ever live "necrophile" sex scene. At the exact moment Vince said "go with it", there should have been someone with the overriding authority to suspend the go-ahead of what became known as the lowest point in WWE television history, which is a long one. I don't know what drugs Vince was on the day he said yes to this, but if everyone else could see the catastrophe that was about to happen, surely leaving the final decision solely in Vince's hands can't be "good for business." I think it was proven a hundred fold with that little debacle. So, let Stephanie be the voice of reason. She should have the power to override a "creative" decision with a single phone call to the board, especially if Vince won't listen to what everyone else obviously believes is the definition of "reason." If it truly and honestly comes down to Vince McMahon himself as to what is shown to "children", and it was him alone that allowed this travesty to occur, then quite frankly they have not learned from their mistakes if the power in still in his grasp.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
