WWE: 7 Divas Who Should Have Never Held The Title

1. Jillian Hall

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uC73aaCRyo Poor Jillian was the women's equivalent of Santino Marella, except she only ever induced cringing, not laughter. Her gimmick was that of a bad singer - which, after living through Natalya's fart segments €“ doesn't seem so bad now. In a sea of fake blonde hair, heavy make-up, and breast enhancements, Jillian had no chance of standing out. She was pretty good at taking bumps and looking like a fool, much to the delight of anyone who hadn't stepped out for a washroom break. Now one might say that her championship reign shouldn't even be considered as such €“ after all, she held the title for maybe 4 minutes. But she's in the record books, and is hilariously entered in the gallery of Divas online (I guess they let her hold the belt for the sake of a photo, how kind). If you see the way in which she got the win from Mickie James, you'd be hard pressed to find a more awkward finish. It's like baby deer learning how to tango. After the completely botched powerbomb and the hesitant pin (it looked like Mickie had to prompt her to do it), the Raw Special Guest GM appears. Nancy O'Dell, in all her authority, announces that a trade has been made from SmackDown. Out comes Melina, who makes quick work of Jillian and holds the title for three months until injury forces her to vacate. What a pathetic way to add drama and transition the title from one babyface to another. Jillian's win completely discredited Mickie James, and Melina beating her did nothing for the title. The losing-est, worst-singing-est Diva should have never held the belt. It was four minutes too long, and another sign of the perceived value of the Divas Championship. Let's hope that AJ Lee's record-breaking reign is a sign of greater care being taken to elevate the title.
