5. He Didnt Start A New Program
Its a fact that, in WWE, unless youre involved in a storyline, youre irrelevant. It may be a feud against someone else, your return being hyped by video packages, a losing streak, whatever it may be, for someone to be relevant, they have to be doing something. What has Sheamus done since his return? Granted, Sheamus entered the Elimination Chamber match. But how many interactions has he had with any of the other participants? None. If hes not going to be a relevant part of the build to the Chamber, why not have him work a filler midcard program? Batista is currently feuding with ADR; something in that level would be adequate. Perhaps Wade Barrett couldve thrown him out of the Rumble after being eliminated, or something of that nature. The fact that its been two weeks and Sheamus hasnt done anything interesting proves either that his big storyline heading into WrestleMania (assuming he will be part of one) starts inside the Elimination Chamber or that not even WWE is sure about what theyre going to do with Sheamus. But either way, for now, that doesnt make his return more exciting in any way.
