WWE: 7 Genuine Examples Of Triple H Doing "What's Best For Business"

The perception of wrestling fans is that Triple H really isn't what is best for business. People think he's selfish, that he held other wrestlers down throughout his career and has used his personal relationship as Stephanie McMahon's husband to help his career. While that may be true to some extent, it's not all bad when you look at Triple H's nearly 20 year run in WWE. As a top guy in the wrestling business, it's part of the job description to put people over. The best way for somebody else to become a bigger star is to go over an established talent. When Hunter was moving up the ranks, guys like Mick Foley and Steve Austin put him over. It made people perceive Hunter as a main event level player. The ultimate decision maker in WWE is Vince McMahon. He has been for over three decades. However, Hunter has been the second in command for many years and before he was in that spot he had a lot of influence on the decision making process because he's been a part of those discussions behind the scenes for many years. Currently, Hunter's in a position where he should put Daniel Bryan over at WrestleMania and most likely that's what is going to happen. There's no reason for Hunter to get the win. He's in the position as an executive right now, so the future of the company is what matters most to him these days. His priorities are in the right place with his focus on the future of World Wrestling Entertainment. Here's a look at some instances where Triple H did the right thing by putting over others to help make them bigger stars.
