WWE: 7 Possible Matches For Undisputed Championship At WrestleMania XXX

7. Randy Orton vs CM Punk

Randy Orton is the current holder of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as we all know. CM Punk just got involved in a feud with the Authority, and it seems like they may be in a collision course: Orton is the corporate champion and Punk is well known as an anti-authority, anti-establishment individual. Kayfabe-wise, they'd mesh very well. It's also a fact that Orton needs to face opponents who are good talkers, otherwise the promos and interviews leading up to this important match would be... dull, at least. CM Punk fits that category, as he is one of the best mic workers in WWE. It's very easy to set this match up as well. Orton retains the belt until WrestleMania XXX, by defeating John Cena at the Royal Rumble and retaining inside the Elimination Chamber while CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble. It would be interesting to see a rematch from WrestleMania XXVII, when Orton defeated Punk, with the roles reversed. This time around, Randy would be the heel, Punk would be the face, and there would be a pretty good chance of Punk defeating Orton to win the Undisputed Championship and get revenge on Randy for beating him a few years ago in the same event. Although it sounds like it makes sense for this match to happen, what makes me think otherwise is that this match wouldn't be a very high profile match. Sure, CM Punk and Randy Orton are both main eventers, but this match lacks two people who I'm pretty sure will be involved in the main event of the thirtieth anniversary of WrestleMania-John Cena and Daniel Bryan. I could see Bryan out of the picture, but I'm pretty certain this match will feature John Cena. But anyhow, Punk vs Orton doesn't sound important enough at the moment to main event such a huge event.
