WWE: 7 Possible Plot Twists For Elimination Chamber 2014

2. Dean Ambrose And Seth Rollins Turn On Roman Reigns

Much of the speculation surrounding WWE's hottest heel faction centers on its big man, Roman Reigns. Reigns has been the strong arm of The Shield since day one and has used his muscle to help exert their dominance over the rest of WWE's roster. But now that The Shield are firmly established in WWE, the issue of what each man will do in the company is being heavily debated like never before. Dean Ambrose is considered by many to be the next great top heel in the company while Seth Rollins has a career that could be very successful despite which side he lands on. However it is Roman Reigns that many of the WWE faithful point to as being not only the next big thing, but perhaps even the next top guy. And that evolution must begin at some point. The reason for that is due to the fact that right now, Roman is still heel. And to imagine him at the top of Vince McMahon's company in a heel role seems highly unlikely. That means that the turn must be made in order to get him on the right track and the fact is that Roman turning on The Shield may not be good enough. The fans need to see Roman at a disadvantage. They need to see him beaten down, made human by the very forces that he helped to conquer their opponents in the first place. Leaving Roman in the ring for The Wyatt Family to devour would more than get Roman over for the crowd. For the first time, The Shield's Superman would be on his own without any help to bail him out. And to see Roman go down swinging would likely only get him over even more. Imagine The Wyatts standing back, Bray just marveling at the resilience of Roman as he keeps getting back to his feet. Imagine Roman then somehow finding a way to get the pin and the victory. This would begin the road to the top for Roman Reigns. It's not a road that should lead him up right away but it is one that should begin eventually. Elimination Chamber could see the beginning of WWE's next chapter.
