3. He Will Compete In Three More WrestleMania Main Event Matches
Cena has competed at 11 WrestleManias starting at WM20 with his first main event taking place in 2006 at WM22 as he defeated Triple H in the main event to retain the WWE Title. The next year he defeated Shawn Michaels in the main event to retain the WWE Title. Surprisingly, even though he was the top guy in the company, he didn't headline any of the next three WrestleManias. He followed that up by wrestling in the main event of WM27 (against The Miz) and then the two matches against The Rock at WrestleMania 28 and 29. That's five main events at 11 WrestleManias. It's unlikely that Cena is going to match the eight WrestleMania main events that Hulk Hogan had, but my prediction is that he's going to match it. Hogan's last true WrestleMania main event was WM9 when he was 40 years old. He wasn't advertised for the main event, but he did end the night as the WWE Champion after his surprise win over Yokozuna. Considering that he's just turned 37 and has really showed no signs of slowing down, it seems very probable that Cena has another one or two main events in him. Perhaps WrestleMania 31 will see Roman Reigns in the spot as the WWE Champion to end the night, but what if Undertaker decides on one last match? Maybe that's against Cena. In that case, that's a match that could go on last just because of how special it would be. The Rock didn't wrestle at a WrestleMania for eight years and he got to main event two in a row. Cena's a guy that WWE will very likely put in main events again. He's too big of a name for it not to happen. Simply put, if Cena wrestles at eight more WrestleManias or something like that, he's going to be in the main event spot at least another three times.
