WWE: 7 Reasons Why Bray Wyatt Must Beat John Cena At WrestleMania

2. Losses Don't Really Hurt Cena

If Cena loses at WrestleMania it would be his fourth straight loss on PPV. If you ask most fans watching WWE regularly, most of them will joke about how Cena almost never loses. It's actually a fair thing to say, but at least in his big matches of late he has been losing. He's lost three straight PPV matches and it still feels like he wins all the time. That's what happens when you're the biggest star for a decade. Fans call him "Super Cena" as a joke for a reason. It's because nothing and nobody can ever really stop him or slow down. He's a guy that WWE will always book strong. While it's not fair to say that Cena's not winding down, he is likely in that last third of his career where he's close to retirement. When he's an older wrestler, he's not going to start losing 90% of his matches. That's just not how it's going to be with him. For a guy like Shawn Michaels they did that towards the end of his career, but Cena's booked different. He's one of the most protected stars ever. Fans will always view Cena as a winner whether he's 36 or if he's still going at 46. They know he's won more WWE/World Titles than anybody (most of Ric Flair's were in other companies) and by the time he's done he'll be so far ahead of everybody else that nobody is going to come close to touching him. It will be especially difficult with only one major WWE Title in the company. A loss at WrestleMania might hurt others, but a guy in Cena's spot won't be hurt by any loss to anybody because he's still got his millions of dollars, his mansion, his cars and his pretty girlfriend. The fans know that. WWE shoves it down our throats. That's why some people don't like him too.
