WWE: 7 Reasons Why Tough Enough Returning Is A Great Idea

5. Adding Original Content To WWE Network Is Important

Wwe Network

We all know WWE loves to boast about how much content they have on WWE Network. Most of the time when they do they're talking about older PPV events from WWE, WCW & ECW history. There are some new shows on there like Legends House, but at this point there really aren't enough of them. By adding Tough Enough to the lineup, WWE is providing fans with more first run content using a show name and format that the WWE Universe is familiar with. Some fans will be used to it because they watched the other incarnations while newer fans may be curious to see what all the fuss is about. It would be different than the other seasons because those aired on MTV, UPN (as part of Smackdown) and most recently in 2011 on USA Network. This time around WWE is producing the show and airing it on their own WWE Network. That's a huge advantage for them from a production standpoint although it will be seen by less viewers than the previous versions just because there are less people watching WWE Network right now. That could change as WWE Network continues to go.
