WWE: 7 Reasons Why Tough Enough Returning Is A Great Idea
4. Guest Appearances By Big Name WWE Stars Are Beneficial
One of the great things about the show is that they have the ability to bring in current or former WWE stars to talk to the Tough Enough cast. Sometimes that person is really nice and encouraging while other times they are very blunt to the point that they come off like a jerk. We've seen it on every variation of the show even that season where they aired the segments in a ring on Smackdown. Here's a clip of Triple H on the first season on Tough Enough from back in 2001 when Tough Enough was in its first season on MTV. They brought in a lot of different talent as guest stars on the show, but it was Hunter's speech that really stood out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvyfEW9zra4 "It's not an easy life. Careers are short. Careers are fast. I'm not tough - I'm no tougher than anybody else in our business. But I respect our business. I love our business. I put my life on the line every day for our business and I gladly do it and I will continue to do it until I can do it no longer." "You have to earn respect in this business. It's not given to you. You earn it. You pay your dues and right now you guys are a mile ahead of where you should be paying dues. You guys have the greatest opportunity in the world in my opinion to be in the greatest business in the world. Do not f**k it up. Do not throw it away because if you do you piss on every single person that has come before you." "You either want this or you don't. If you don't want it, don't waste our f**king time." People may complain about reality TV, but that was a real moment and Triple H is somebody that took it very seriously. It was one of the most talked about moments of that first season of Tough Enough as the likes of Maven, Nidia, Josh Mathews and Chris Nowinski looked on. Here's hoping there is more "tough love" on the new season of Tough Enough with appearances by the likes of Triple H and other veterans that will show up to offer their advice.
