WWE: 7 Reasons Why Triple H Is Best For Business

Triple H Triple H has long been considered a legend of the business; he has won 13 World Championships, been the leader of 2 major factions, is a Grand Slam Champion and has been the victor in countless major storylines. Trips has long been a top performer in WWE, though this has been contested by many people, some even agreeing with Bret Hart's recent summary that he was never in a classic match, but I would like to add my rebuttal. Here are some notable matches for you; Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H, Randy Orton vs. Triple H (Last Man Standing), Batista vs. Triple H (Hell in a Cell), Steve Austin vs. Triple H (3 Stages of Hell), Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels (Unsanctioned Street Fight) and the list goes on. I would also like to provide a little statistical evidence from Dave Meltzer - 4 star+ matches per wrestler: Triple H (26), Edge (16), The Undertaker (15), CM Punk (13), Chris Jericho (12), Shawn Michaels (12), John Cena (11), Brock Lesnar (8), and Batista (6). Oh yeah, and Bret Hart, who highly criticised our beloved Game (14). While there is no doubt in my mind that Triple H has a huge ego, so does Vince McMahon, but that didn't do the Attitude Era any harm. What the stereotypical McMahon/Helmsley ego has done is help push the business to a level no-one else can reach. Triple H over the past year has shown he has no intention to coast on WWE's current stance in the world; he is aiming for improvement. For a man soon to be running a global powerhouse, an ego is much better than no confidence. But this article is not about Triple H's wrestling ability, his former exploits or whether he is a legend. This article is about whether he is currently good for business. There are varying opinions on Triple H and his abilities as an executive member of WWE's backstage staff. He is in charge of Talent Relations and is a Director and Producer in terms of Creative Direction and storylines. The man, who is synonymous with his burying of talent, is now an integral player in the day-to-day running of the world's largest and most successful Professional Wrestling company. The current story-lines are hot topics throughout the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC), and WWE is garnering some of the biggest interest since the fall of the Ruthless Aggression Era, or even the end of the Attitude Era, and I for one am leaning towards Triple H succeeding in his future. Therefore, I believe some credit should be shown to the King of Kings. So here we go; click "Next" to learn why Triple H is best for business...
