6. Max Moon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m9hpV3PNyU Max Moon came from Outer Space to show wrestlers on Earth how it was done because they just weren't doing it right. Moon originally appeared on Wrestling Challenge in 1992 billed as 'The Comet Kid', but he wasn't going to let a name like that hold him back. After a number of weeks he became Max Moon and proceeded to gain victories over various lower card superstars. Moon came to the ring in tights that resembled a neon circuit board and he shot fireworks out of canons attached to his arms (how futuristic!). The Moon character was played by two different people; originally Konnan took on the role but quickly departed WWE back to Mexico and the mantle of Max Moon was given to Paul Diamond, who had most recently be seen in WWE under a mask in The Orient Express as Kato. Diamond would achieve the most success as Moon gaining an Intercontinental Championship match against 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels on the very first episode of Raw in 1993 and appearing in the Royal Rumble later that month but after that Max Moon quickly disappeared from WWE television and perhaps went back to Outer Space. The Max Moon costume is notoriously one of the most expensive outfits ever created in wrestling and apart from the arm fireworks its hard to tell why. The awful blue, yellow and pink tights dont go together at all. WWE obviously loves bright neon colours, but for Moon the costume just looked like a disaster. What was going on with the mask for example? If there is a wrestler from space you'd think he'd come dressed to wrestle a little better. Did we mention he had a jetpack?
