WWE: 7 Things You Should Know If You Are Attending Your First House Show

3. The Set Is A Lot Less Extravagant

If you watch Raw or Smackdown with regularity then you know that there's a huge video wall by the entrance. It used to be called the Titantron and perhaps still is, but it's essentially just a just a video screen. The ramp is also gone. They just walk down the aisle. No reason to set up the ramp when it's just a house show. There won't be any pyro at a house show, either. It's obvious from watching the shows that WWE has significantly cut down on pyro anyway, but at house shows there won't be pyro. The reason is that it's expensive. They're not going to waste money on that. You'll hear the entrance song of your favorite WWE superstar, but there won't be much more than that. As mentioned previously, they have added a video screen to the house shows. It's not like they are huge, but it gets the job done. You would be surprised at how many people comment on the set when they get there. It's really not that elaborate and sometimes people are mad about it, but it's definitely understandable why WWE is willing to cut back on costs when it comes to house shows.
