WWE: 7 Tips On Going To WrestleMania 30

6. Try To Go To At Least One WWE Axxess Session

First of all, I hope that if you have children that you don't let them rely on WWE to teach them how to spell because they like to spell a word like access as "Axxess" for trademark purposes. When I was at WM27 and WM28, Axxess was pretty simple. They were held at convention centers. The costs to go into them was about $45 or so. There are also VIP sections that you cold pre-order, but a lot of those are sold out months in advance. The admission gets you in a session for four hours. Different superstars show up while you're there with each of them staying for around two hours. What Axxess is simply is a fan fest where various WWE superstars show up, fans stay in a line for up to an hour at times and they get to take a picture and/or have something signed. As long as you paid for your admission, you could meet as many people as you wanted. Sounds great, right? It can be. There are some bad stories, though. I can remember walking around the floor one year when a buddy was in line to see a big name like Daniel Bryan or somebody like that. The problem is that Axxess has people switch out, so you could be in line waiting for Bryan for 45 minutes, then when you're 5 people away he gets up to leave and he could be replaced by...JTG. I've seen it happen. And I heard a lot of swear words because of it. Last year at WrestleMania, Axxess changed. Instead of using a convention center, they used an arena, which is much larger, and had people spread around the building. I understand the need to want to create more space, but that makes it more difficult for the fans to get around to meet people. If you're in town, try to make it to one of the Axxess sessions. There's signings on Thursday April 3 (6-10pm), Friday April 4 (6-10pm), Saturday April 5 (three sessions that day) and Sunday (starting at 8am). Plenty of opportunities to check out Axxess and it's worth the $45 admission fee.
