WWE: 7 Ways To Book John Cena Through To SummerSlam 2014
3. Cena Enters The WWE Title Picture
This will make some fans groan, but it's not unrealistic to think that Cena will get back in the WWE Title picture again. He won the WWE Title at WrestleMania 29 last year, held it for a few months before dropping it clean to Daniel Bryan. He missed a couple of months of action, then returned to beat Alberto Del Rio for the World Title and went on to have another feud with Randy Orton that he ended up losing. At some point Cena has to get back in the title picture. It's likely that by the time he retires he'll win more major World Titles than anybody in history, including Ric Flair. The argument against Cena in the title picture is that he's still got another five years or so left as a top guy. He does get injured from time to time, but also has amazing recovering powers. We may joke about the "Super Cena" name from time to time. When it comes to injuries, though, the guy is a freak with the way he returns without missing a beat. If Daniel Bryan loses the WWE Title between now and SummerSlam, Cena could get back into the title picture quickly. Even with Bryan as champion, they could do a face vs. face match between the two just because Cena gave Bryan the shot at SummerSlam. It would be a case of Bryan returning the favor. One thing is clear. Cena is never going to be too far out of the WWE Title picture. He's the true face of WWE and as such he'll always be sniffing around the main event.
