WWE: 7 Ways To Fix Raw Right Now

1. Every Week At Least One Title Is On the Line

If WWE wants us to believe that titles actually matter then they need to have more title matches on television, specifically Raw. There aren't enough of them. If they happened more often, fans would be able to get into the characters more and it would give a big match feel on a regular basis. They could have Triple H, Stephanie or Brad Maddox make an announcement that every week there will be a title match on Raw. Champions should be ready to defend their titles when they get to the building. Some weeks matches will be announced beforehand. Other weeks they will feel like impromptu title defenses. It would be nice to see the WWE World Heavyweight Championship defended at least once per month on Raw. This idea that there can only be major title matches at PPVs is silly. The champion can defend against midcarders on TV. Why not? So the midcarder isn't going to win. Big deal. Giving fans a competitive matchup is what's important. The other midcard titles like the Tag Titles, IC Title, US Title and Divas Title could be defended more often too. If you want the titles to mean more then showcase them more often. There are way too many non-title matches that the champions lose. We're paying to see winners, not losers. These ideas are all things that would make Raw feel like a fresh and interesting show again.
