WWE: 7 Wrestlers Currently Working Through Injury Issues

6. The Undertaker

Theundertakerhhh When The Undertaker's schedule changed and he was gradually removed more and more from WWE programming, many fans were not happy. After all, Taker has been a mainstay of WWE since 1990; while other Superstars left for a payday from WCW, he continued to entertain in Vince McMahon's company. He is arguably the most popular WWE Superstar of all time. But the truth is that Taker was beat up. Taking him off TV meant that he could focus on getting healthy, so he could be reserved for pay-per-views and special appearances only. This way, he could still be a marketable selling point and be in good physical condition to work on WWE's main stage. However, that stage soon became WrestleMania only. Taker's career went from part-time to one-time. Broken facial bones, pyro burns, muscle tears, a bad hip, a broken ankle, a torn groin, a shoulder that was too banged up to even operate on; Taker's history of injury sounds like a battlefield report. There is no doubt about it; The Deadman has been through a war. And that doesn't stop him from competing every year at WrestleMania to defend his Streak. The fact is that Undertaker has not quite been right physically for years, yet he still comes back for more. While he could retire and walk away at any time, Undertaker continues to be a presence at the company's biggest event of the year.
