WWE: 7 Wrestlers Who Could Make Evolution Better

5. Mason Ryan

Okay, okay let's just discuss the obvious, yes, Mason Ryan and Batista look alike. However, now that Batista is looking a bit more aged since Ryan's last national run, and now that he shaves his head, they don't look like twins anymore. Last time most fans saw Ryan was when he was in The New Nexus...and he wasn't very good. He was green, and just didn't seem like he knew how to even convincingly move around a wrestling ring. WWE wisely sent him back down to NXT where he's grown into a decent wrestler. Sure, he doesn't have the ability to headline a WrestleMania, but he could be an effective enforcer for a reformed Evolution. In the old group, it was Batista who was the €œmuscle." Now the three are on fairly equal footing and could use someone else to do their heavy lifting for them. Ryan could be that man. At 32 years-old, Ryan is at the point where he can't do much more in developmental. He's been stuck there for the past few years, and it's time for something new. Because of his improvement in the ring, and dedication to his craft, he deserves another shot. Another reason for a call-up is that as we all know, Vince McMahon and HHH love their ridiculously muscular wrestlers. Hunter is a guy that goes to bodybuilding competitions for fun in his free time! You would think that he'd like to have someone with the physique and stature of Ryan by his side. Besides, when the time comes to end the group they could always have Batista feud with Ryan, and have him pass the torch to his younger looking self.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
