From what we've seen so far in NXT, Adrian Neville is a fantastic in-ring wrestler, but not much of a promo guy. Maybe if he was paired with three WWE main-eventers he could pick up a few pointers. Part of the appeal of the original Evolution is that we had two guys who were billed as the future of the company, and we got to watch them grow as wrestlers. Considering it's been nine years since the group disbanded, and three of them have main-evented a WrestleMania multiple times since then, that prediction ended up being pretty solid. Through necessity, WWE is currently in the midst of a youth movement. It's great seeing Paige, Alexander Rusev and Adam Rose getting called up to the main roster. One more certainly couldn't hurt. Neville would add a dose of high-flying athleticism that no one on Raw or SmackDown currently possesses. He could also be like X-Pac in the NWO, by being the guy who takes most of the bumps in tag matches. Batista and Hunter are in their 40s, and could use someone to add some more excitement, and in-ring credibility to their act. Neville may seem like a natural babyface, but so does Seth Rollins, and he was a solid heel. WWE may feel it's a little too soon for Neville to be called up to the main roster, but you can't help but think there will be many better opportunities to make a big splash right out of the gate than by joining Evolution.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
