We finish on the injury which ended Undertaker's career on such a poor performance. Ironically it wasn't one of his nagging long term injuries which cost him, it was in fact a severe concussion near the start of his Brock Lesnar match which ruined his last ever streak defence. The match was sorely disappointing. It was slow, methodical and poorly executed. The reason for this was attributed to Taker's severe concussion, but in truth, it could just have easily been any of the other factors. The age. The chronic injuries. The fact he was against a poorer worker than usual in Lesnar. Undertaker couldn't raise his game, he was knocked out, but he still had the awareness to follow the match plan. The reasons for the poor quality where more likely his combined injury issues. Not to down play the concussion, it was so severe he collapsed as soon as he reached backstage after his match. Vince McMahon then abandoned his overseeing of WrestleMania for the first time ever, choosing to accompany Calaway to hospital in the emergency ambulance. It marked the end for Undertaker as a performer you have to assume. It's no longer a case of speculating he's too old and worn down for Mania, WrestleMania 30 proved without a doubt that he is too old and worn down for continued activity. Read back over this list and the catalogue of injuries, the fact is that Mark Calaway the man is far from invincible. The time has arrived to say goodbye to a character who was legendary, portrayed by a man who was all too easily feeling the reality of his toil.
