In 1997 Bret €˜The Hitman€™ Hart was the biggest star in the WWE, in the current year John Cena finds himself in the same position having carried the company on his shoulders for the last decade.

In that year€™s Wrestlemania Bret was given the responsibility to work with and help make the company€™s next emerging star €˜Stone Cold€™ Steve Austin. In a mirror of roles the WWE have turned to John Cena in a bid to springboard Bray Wyatt's career.

Contrary to chants from the WWE Universe and despite nagging injuries, stand out performances against the likes of Daniel Bryan and Cesaro have proven that when it truly matters its biggest superstar can still deliver in the ring. Wrestlemania 30 is one of those times he will need to step up.

After overcoming his Husky Harris days, much like Steve Austin did his terrible €˜Ringmaster€™ gimmick; Bray Wyatt has carved a niche for himself as one of the most entertaining characters in the company.

The fact remains however outside of the comforts of a tag team setting Bray has not had the chance to make a real statement in the ring as a solo competitor, in order to make it to the pinnacle of sports entertainment he needs to do so opposite John Cena at Wrestlemania.

On that fateful night in Chicago at Wrestlemania 13, Bret Hart and Steve Austin produced an absolute masterpiece, their Submission Match launched Austin to new heights of popularity that have still not been surpassed to this day. The WWE will be hoping its current franchise player can help produce similar results at Wrestlemania 30.
