WWE: 8 Wrestlers Whose Gimmicks Were Ripped Off From Video Games

7. Wrath - Mortal Kombat

Wrath isn't the worst offender from WCW involved in the 'Blood Runs Cold' angle and it's why he features in the bad end of this list. The former Adam Bomb in WWF, Wrath was almost an amalgamation of several different characters from Mortal Kombat rather than a complete rip off of a single character in the game. He had the long hair and badass look of Shang Tsung, a singlet, cape and scary looking helmet clearly inspired by Shao Khan and of course he knew martial arts? Wrath certainly wouldn't have looked out of place in Outworld trying to conquer Earthrealm. Wrath, played by Bryan Clark was certainly an intimidating specimen and even after the Blood Runs Cold angle he received a renewed push in WCW with an undefeated streak - though that quickly came to an end at the hands of Kevin Nash. As an extra bit of trivia, Wrath and fellow WCW competitor Meng would make cameo appearances in the TV show Mortal Kombat: Conquest. Could they be any more obvious?
