https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7Ugj2fPpcw In May 1999, the Corporation was usurped by Shane McMahon and what seemed like a show of defiance against his father Vince, merged with the Ministry of Darkness to form the Corporate Ministry. In the wake of the merger, there were a number of dissidents who had at one time been Corporate team members. Lead by Mankind, Ken Shamrock, Test and The Big Show formed the Union to oppose the Corporate Ministry. The name was a pot-shot at Jesse Venture who had attempted to unionize wrestlers a decade previous. While the group was a decent idea, the booking was not good. They carried around giant 2x4's everywhere they went for some reason and used the terrible theme posted above. A month after forming, Mankind would be taken out of action by Triple H and the Union quietly disbanded shortly after.
