The son of the legendary Ric Flair, Reid Flair passed away tragically aged just 25 in March of this year, in yet another case of drug abuse claiming a young wrestler's life. An accidental overdose of Heroin and prescription drugs was revealed as the cause of death. Reid never got chance to fully realize his pro wrestling aspirations: his most famous moment within the industry came when he was just 10 years old, when he beat Eric Bischoff in WCW. In 2008 he trained under Harley Race and went on to appear for several Independent wrestling events. He was still learning his craft and was nowhere near the level required to consider WWE, but appearances for All Japan Pro Wrestling were encouraging. He had been due to team with father Ric when he was suddenly found dead. The Nature Boy was devastated as you would expect.
