WWE: 9 Wrestling Talents We Lost In 2014

Some huge stars unfortunately left us too early this year.

Being a wrestling fan, you get used to your heroes dying. Most of the time, these deaths come at a very young age and are the result of drug and alcohol abuse. No, wrestling is not good for your health. It's a hard business, one which means you never know a pain-free day in your life. All of those bumps lead to aches and pains and those aches and pains inevitably lead to the bottle or pills. Far too many wrestlers have died before the age of fifty, including a couple of former WWE stars this year. These numbers are decreasing, however, in large part due to WWE's cleanup operation. The world's leading wrestling organisation has made steps to ensure that there aren't any more of these tragedies. WWE is now offering to pay for rehab for former employees and regularly drug testing current talent. The upshot is that fewer wrestlers are dying on WWE's watch and fewer former wrestlers are dying as a result of their past demons. Still, seven famous faces from the wrestling world died this year. Let's take a look at who these people are, what they contributed to the business, and how they should be remembered.
