WWE And TNA: 6 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 12)

5. Sacrifices

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkWHvumbPmw Last week the TNA stable of The Rising went their own separate ways after filling our lives with fun and fond memories of their three months together. Most of those memories revolved around us going "What are the other two guys' names in The Rising again?" This week, Drew Galloway beat the remaining members of James Storm's former stable The Revolution in a handicap match. The old 3-on-1 nonsense. When one guy can beat three so easily, it devalues the rest of the mid-card. That€™s one of the last things TNA needs right now, unless they€™re planning on letting Abyss, Khoya and Manik go. Manik, though, is going to keep showing up in those giant random X-Division matches which devalues everyone involved, and Abyss is a legacy wrestler, as far as TNA talent go. A program between The Monster and Galloway could be built up to show that there's a changing of the guard. Use footage of all the top stars that Abyss has battled with like Mick Foley, A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe. Or, you could ignore history, have one guy run through all three in one match and nobody gains anything, because nobody makes a big deal out of it. One way works, one way kills an already dying company. And one man showing up multiple roster members was a curse in WWE this week as well...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
