WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 19)

7. Summer Is Here

It seems that most fans have emotionally moved on from the Miz and Mizdow. Holding off too long on the breakup, along with a Viagra spoof have been largely to blame. WWE is trying to salvage what they can out of it, and is treating us to three weeks of Raw matches in a row between the two. But this once promising feud seems to be limping to the end. Part of the reason the story has become even worse since last week is due to the unnecessary inclusion of Summer Rae. Now, because of a straight to DVD movie from a non-popular franchise (why are people freaking out over the Star Wars and Batman vs. Superman trailers and not The Marine 4?) she€™s been added to the mix. The problem is, she€™s always been a heel, and without any storyline reason (besides a forced kiss from Mizdow) she€™s turned face...I think. Mizdow may like her, but that doesn€™t mean we do. She€™s offered no apologies for the way she€™s acted in the past, no explanations, just a complete turn due to some workplace sexual harassment. Despite all the odds, could this work out for both characters and bring them to new heights? Well, look at the fellow forced former mid-card couple of Fandango and Rosa for evidence that it will not.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
