WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 19)

6. Big Show vs. Roman

Well, it€™s official. The Big Show vs. Roman Reigns is set for Extreme Rules. It feels really, really pointless. And if it feels like we€™ve seen Roman defeat Show on a number of occasions, it€™s because we have. In fact, Roman defeated Show cleanly on the April 6 episode of Raw. That wasn€™t that long ago WWE creative! The beatings didn€™t end there, Roman has also defeated Show in tag or singles matches on Raw or SmackDown on April 7, March 30, March 23, February 10, February 9, January 29, January 13, January 6, and January 5. Oh yeah, he also beat him in The Royal Rumble too even when he had Kane€™s help! Show only has one victory of any sort over Roman this year, so it€™s basically 10-1 in Roman€™s favor. Does this really require any sort of match to prove who is the superior wrestler? WWE had Show out on SmackDown talking about how he€™s basically the toughest man on the planet. That€™s Honky Tonk type level heat. We knew Tonk wasn€™t the greatest Intercontinental Champ of all time, because he always had to cheat or run away to keep his belt. It€™s good heat, but only for a certain type of wrestler. Show shoudn€™t have to rely on making things up to seem legit. WWE should push him as an actual giant who is tough to defeat. But okay, fine, let€™s do this one more time. But let€™s stop at 12 in a year.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
