WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 19)

3. Randy Orton > Entire Tag Division

Moments after Booker T said that if anybody took on him and his brother at the same time €œThey€™d get killed€ Orton put away the tag team champions. By himself. Remember that giant eight man tag match at WrestleMania? Yeah, all those guys suck, because the team that won that match couldn€™t beat up one guy by themselves. It€™s so bizarre that WWE repeatedly books matches that make any tag team, let alone the champions of the division, look like jobbers. If two guys can€™t beat up one in a fair fight then they should be let go from their job as professional fighters. It makes watching future tag matches feel meaningless. Kind of like the main event of SmackDown, which gave us Daniel Bryan and John Cena vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. That was really unfair to the champs for that match to be booked. After all, Cena has been portrayed as superior to Orton over the years, so why would he even need Bryan to tag with him to beat those two? The thing is, it doesn€™t matter who the tag team champions are, because no matter how much two guys train, and study footage together, and come up with new moves, WWE could just take two of their top 10 singles stars, put them in a team, and in their first match ever tagging together win. Fact.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
