WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Aug 24)

5. Goodbye ODB

One by one everyone seems to be leaving TNA these days. We don't even get so much as a goodbye! A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and the gang have all moved on, leaving us with a bare bones roster consisting of Samoa Joe and The BroMans. There were even rumors that Kurt Angle called Vince McMahon and HHH to try and get his old job back to no avail. It€™s true, it€™s damn true! It€™s also sad. Well in the latest casualty of the week, we saw the talented and unique ODB get let go. It€™s a shame as she was a nice addition to the roster back in 2007, back when the company was really amping up their Knockouts Division. She was great at playing her character, and far more convincing than most of the women in WWE and TNA. She also was a solid in-ring wrestler. What€™s not to love? Sure, the past few years ODB was wasted in a forgettable marriage to Eric Young (which TNA seemed to forget most of the time as well), but it was just another example in a long, long, ridiculously long line of talents who were underutilized and under-appreciated. Let€™s end this cycle before it€™s too late! Eh, let€™s face it, it€™s probably too late.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
