WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Aug 7)

3. Don't Book Like This

So about those handicap matches. If you were a betting man, how many of those matches would you think the heels would have won? After all, they had a big advantage in all three showdowns. So logic would dictate that they had a clean swept and easily won. But then that would mean the people writing the show used logic. The answer was zero!

TNA, when the good guys overcome the odds every single time, that means the bad guys are the ones we feel sympathy for. When they can’t win with huge advantages I can’t help but question how they got in the wrestling business in the first place.

The worst offender of the three was Sienna and Allie not being able to beat Gail Kim. Sienna shouldn’t be booked in this type of silliness as a monster heel. Also, if Allie has never, ever wrestled before the past few weeks, then Kim should be able to beat her in seconds. There’s no sense in portraying Allie that way, and no sense in booking a wrestling show this way!

Lashley was good, though. So there’s that.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
