WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Aug 7)

4. Handicap Times 3

TNA did a bit of an odd thing on Impact this week. They booked three handicap matches in one night, back-to-back-to back. Did uh...no one booking the show look over the booking sheet?

There were only five matches on the show, and four of them featured the babyfaces at a large disadvantage (EC III had been attacked earlier in the night by Moose and Mike Bennett).

We started with Sienna and Allie vs. Gail Kim, followed up by Jeff Hardy vs. JT Dunn and Chuck Taylor (sign this man now TNA!) and finished with the lovable Grado and not-so-lovable Mahabali Shera vs. Al Snow, Baron Dax and Baraka.

Handicap matches are pretty much my least favorite thing in all of wrestling next to Stephanie McMahon opening a show, or JBL’s “Wah wah, wah!” line. But the results of those Impact matches made things even worse...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
