WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 23)

1. Imposters, Warriors And Scoundrels

Did you hear the news? WWE has a new Warrior book coming out! This week HHH took to the internet to promote this book, and tell us how amazing and inspirational Warrior was, and how his brand of being a horrible person was somehow different than Hulk Hogan€™s, who shall never be mentioned again. Okay, so he didn€™t mention that last part. And yes, two wrongs don€™t make a right, but this surely is a weird time for WWE to fawn over Warrior again. Hunter mentioned how proud he was to write the forward of a book for a homophobic, xenophobic man who took great, great joy that Bobby Heenan had cancer. It€™s also a good thing that Hunter forgot what Warrior said about him in 2005 €œYour body tells us all that you train like a tw*t and rely most on your €œsports supplements.€ Ouch. Hunter informed us that €œThe Warrior maybe had the most famous entrance music of all time.€ Well, no€no, not even close. Hogan, Macho Man, Ric Flair, Steve Austin and The Undertaker€™s theme are certainly in a different realm. Well, Hunter also told us that artwork that was done by Warrior are also included in the book, which basically helps us understand €œwho he was as a man and what he believed in." Oh, cool! That must mean he has some nice art of calling Droz €œA cripple€ that €œQu**ring doesn€™t make the world work€ and that he wouldn€™t piss on Vince McMahon if he was on fire. Can€™t wait to see those paintings! https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=110&v=QR9uC21cnyA Okay, so back to Hogan. Yes, he€™s kind of awful, but here€™s the two major differences: 1) Unlike Hogan, Ultimate Warrior never, ever, apologized for what he said. No explanations, no remorse, nothing. 2) Warrior said his comments all in public, not after boinking his ex-best friend€™s wife in private. Both are scumbags, but due to lack of media attention, one is celebrated and one is vilified. Sometimes there can be two bad guys. WWE€™s long history of re-writing history has rarely been so nauseating. Time to kick out!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
