WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 30)

6. Pants And Punks

All right, let€™s stay with the Divas some more, and just talk about the elephant in the room, the thing that is on everyone's mind: On Raw, Charlotte said her dad was in the best faction in WWE history...but the 4-Horsemen were never in WWE! Wait. That€™s not it. No, we€™re talking about the live crowd€™s reaction to the women wrestlers on Raw. Yikes. Well, instead of cheering for Charlotte, Paige, Becky Lynch, or anyone else involved in the match, the crowd wanted Blue Pants and CM Punk. And they wanted to do the wave, tell the wrestlers their match was boring, and audibly agree on how awesome they were. Some of the competitors in the match were understandably upset, but at the wrong people. As Paige railed against the fans on Twitter, she should have been directing that anger at management. The entire storyline is a mess. The big win at SummerSlam meant absolutely nothing. No one, neither winners or losers talked about what the consequences meant. So what does it matter when it was undone the next night and the Bellas won...or when Charlotte and Becky then got their win back again on SmackDown? Worst of all was Nikki€™s promo when she said that wins and losses don€™t matter. Well€ then maybe stop wrestling if you don€™t care? How was that possibly written down on a script and approved? Wins and losses don€™t matter? That€™s EVERYTHING in wrestling! This entire storyline has essentially been "Hey everyone watch these three new women wrestle for 15 minutes every episode of Raw and SmackDown! It really doesn't matter who wins because we'll do the exact same thing on SmackDown and then on Raw next week!" Can€™t blame the crowd for that one. Something needs to change. We need a revolution from this revolution.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
