WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 3)
7. R-Truth Ends The Streak
Bo Dallas never had an undefeated streak like Goldberg, or The Undertaker, or even Wrath (remember Wrath?!), but the man did go 16-0 on TV before losing his first match. JBL would hype up his streak every time he competed with plenty of "he's 12 and Bo!" jokes. It seemed it may have been going somewhere. Nope! The man WWE chose to end that mini-streak? Why R-Truth of course, who else could possibly have done it? Not only that, but Truth beat him again on SmackDown. This is probably because losing streak storylines always lead somewhere productive. Just ask MVP or Damien Sandow. Its nice to see Bo add another dimension to his character, but there were other ways to get there. Sure, it would have been frustrating to see someone like Cena get the win, but why not hold onto it a bit until someone like Kalisto or Sami Zayn was ready for the main roster and could take it from him? How about that Cesaro guy? It seems he could use a win these days too.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
