WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 14th)

5. Rollins vs. Ziggler And No One Cares

If memory serves, I could have sworn Dolph Ziggler had a huge moment at Survivor Series that should have propelled him up the ladder on the WWE roster. Possibly to the main event level. However, this week on Raw he opened the show in an unadvertised match against Seth Rollins. A potential big match that wasn€™t treated as anything special. It seems this has been going on with Dolph for a few years now. He was the only survivor at Survivor Series 2012, and the next month he defeated John Cena in the TLC main event. Yes, that actually happened! Two months later he was facing off against Kofi Kingston in a four minute match at Elimination Chamber. Nothing ever changes. Time is a flat circle for Dolph. Well, Dolph also didn€™t do himself any favors this week when he accepted a Slammy for being in match of the year. He had this to say:
€œPeople€™s jobs were on the line, and I did what any WWE superstar would do. I did everything I could to entertain each and every one of you.€
Wait. People€™s jobs were on the line and he was concerned about entertaining me? I hope my job isn't ever in jeopardy with him around, he'll probably start juggling or making balloon animals instead of helping me. Big jerk.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
