2. Make NXT NOW!
While watching NXT R Evolution, I had some mixed feelings. On one hand, the last hour of the show was fantastic. On the other hand, I was wondering why so much talent is being held down there for no apparent reason. As Steve Austin talked about on his podcast when interviewing Vince McMahon, the company has like 20 writers. Couldnt one of them figure out a way to promote some NXT men and women to the main roster? As we just saw with Corey Graves, serious injuries can end a wrestlers career at any time. So when someone is ready, call them up and start making money for them and the company. It is a business after all. While Sami Zayn is great in NXT, he would be producing a lot more money on the main roster. It's simple economics WWE! What really struck me is the thought that there's no good reason that Cameron, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae, The Bella Twins and Eva are on the main roster and Charlotte and Sasha Banks aren't. The developmental women wrestlers have already proven theyre better talkers, wrestlers, and all-around more interesting personalities than the aforementioned women. Sasha is 22, and been with WWE since mid-2012. Rosa is 35 and been in WWE since 2006. One of them still couldn't perform a convincing snap-mare takeover to save the planet! Something isnt right.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
