WWEs non-stop bragging about their charity work is more nauseating than watching King Kong Bundy in a pie eating contest. Apparently the one thing that was missing from their non-stop pat on the back fests this year was giving an individual wrestler an award for being so charitable. Imagine watching The Oscars, and they gave an award to one of the celebrity elite for being the most giving one around. Yay! Now, the NFL does award the Man of the Year to a player, but they dont let the general public vote on it, because that would be ridiculous. How are we supposed to know what Natalya, John Cena and Mark Henry do in their free time, unless WWE constantly shows us videos of them? Oh yeah, they do that all the time! But how can we rank one persons charitable deeds against the next? That just feels wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZQYB_smVUQ To top things off, Stephanie McMahon was nominated for the Hero in Us All award. Now for starters, this was on the same episode where she told off the audience and Roman Reigns. Second of all, um... isnt she uh...probably the one who has the final say on who gets nominated for the award? Seems kind of slimy to me, but maybe I'm just not as charitable as they are and wouldn't understand.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
