WWE is terrified of having their heels look anywhere near remotely as strong as their faces. This is despite most popular fictional shows and movies having strong villains (from Darth Vader, to Venom in Spider Man to Tywin Lannister on Game of Thrones). That way, when the babyface wins, he or she has accomplished something special. WWE skips all that build up, and gives us our hero winning...easily...virtually every week. On Raw, a new heel stable was officially established, but of course, the company couldnt possibly have Sheamus team win 4-on-4, because that might actually make Roman look just a touch weak, and then he'd have to go on a journey with some character development added in. So it had to be 7-on-4 match (closer to 7-3 with Jimmys injury). That way, Sheamus new stable looks pathetic, and dont gain anything from their win! On SmackDown, things just got ridiculous. Roman had to take on the entire League of Nations by himself, and made them look like the J.O.B. Squad. Now if Roman lost in five minutes to four guys, hed have sympathy. Who could blame one man for losing to four? But he went 15 minutes against four professionally trained fighters, and won. He beat a new stable BY HIMSELF. This is madness, and part of the reason why adult males can't stand him. Roman DOES NOT need his new family stable, he just needs himself. Its the League of Nations that I feel bad for. Their enemy is unstoppable. This isnt The Joker, Two Face, The Penguin and Riddler going after Batman, this is Egg Man, Killer Moth, Crazy Quilt and the Condiment King trying to take down The Dark Knight. Its just a massacre, and I cant stand to watch it! Time to kick out.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
